The cradle of the sea giants and the air giants
Former transatlantic port, 4th national port
Its shipyards where the Queen Mary 2 and the A380 were born
But also its 20 beaches,
its customs path which overlooks the sea for 7 km.
Visit to submarines, the Atlantic shipyards, and Airbus.

Its promenade along the sea, its fisheries and its bars in the evening,

Monsieur Hulot's beach in Saint Marc...etc.

This small town, a rocky island surrounded by marshes, belongs to the town of Guérande.

It seduces with its calm and its characteristic dwellings.

Today, the village with its typical salt marsh houses

also houses the salt workers' house ecomuseum.

Batz salt marshes

The Salt Marshes

Kervalet, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful salt marsh villages in the region, is built on a rock emerging from the salt marshes where you will find stone houses, typical of salt marsh habitat.

Lose yourself in the alleyways of Trégaté, a charming salt marsh village built high on a rock. As you wander through its narrow streets, you'll discover stone houses, a bakehouse, a fountain, a granite calvary, and its superb 18th-century dormer windows.


Next comes the village of Kermoisan and its famous water tower covered with a fresco depicting the work of salt workers. Take the rue du vieux Moulin where the village expands with pretty houses, many of which have gardens hidden behind their facades, before discovering a green and wild landscape crisscrossed by dry stone walls.

The last village on your route will be Roffiat , where the houses are tightly packed together to protect them from the wind. Admire its curious wooden cross, adorned with thirteen hearts recalling the twelve apostles and Christ, as well as a statuette of Our Lady of Happiness.

20 minutes away: Its islands, its canals, its customs and its traditions

Its villages of thatched cottages topped with reeds.

Cottage tours, boat and horse-drawn carriage rides.

Hiking trails, walking, horse riding and mountain biking circuits.

The village of Kerhinet

20 minutes away: Completely restored by the Natural Park, it is one of the unmissable sites in Brière.

Entirely pedestrian, this village of thatched cottages can be explored with family or friends

for lunch at the inn, a picnic,

its market and its regional products.

Le Croisic

Le Croisic is 30 minutes away. 5 km from the sea. Its wild coastline overlooks the rocks for 10 km. Its fishing port where you can watch for the arrival of boats, its manors and mansions. Its sea trips by boat to the Breton islands
